Calendar View

Exceed Cast can automatically generate a calendar event view based on an external calendar to show in one of your digital signage zones.

Exceed Cast supports any iCal (iCalendar) file or link that is publicly accessible.

Up to 6 events can be displayed at one time. Events must have a start date/time in the next 7 days in order to be loaded.

Dynamic Refresh​

This content source supports dynamic refresh. After adding a calendar view item to a zone, it will automatically be refreshed every 60 minutes. This interval can be adjusted using the item settings button. It can be set as low as every 5 minutes. A value of 0 for the refresh interval will disable automatic refresh, and the content will become static.

Customization​

You can customize some aspects of the calendar view. You can add text as a header and/or footer. You can also customize the accent color used on the display.

Displayed Fields​

The event view will display the following fields if available from the calendar source:

  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Start Date
  • Event Title
  • Event Description (Body)
