Billing and Licensing
Licensing in Exceed Cast is divided into two types. Information about the types is listed below.
To verify your licensing information, you can navigate to Organization -> Billing in the Exceed Cast portal.
If your licensing information is not correct, or you need to make changes, please contact your Exceed Cast sales contact.
Device Licensing
Each player device (device showing the full screen slideshow) requires a Device License.
Device Licenses are consumed as soon as the player device is registered to your account even if no content is assigned. You may unlink the player device at any time and that license will become available again. If your account has no free device licenses, you may not register any additional devices until more licenses have been obtained.
Storage Licensing
Storage Licenses limits how much content may be uploaded and storage in Exceed Cast at a time. Storage is tracked by the megabyte.
Each Device License includes 1024 MB of storage at no additional charge. Additional storage if required can be purchased and will be added to your total.
Only content currently stored in Exceed Cast counts against your total. If you run out of storage, you may either delete content to free some up, or purchase an additional amount. When your account has no free storage, you will be unable to add any additional content to any zone.
